OUR MISSION
LEARN ABOUT PANGOLINS

WHAT ARE THEY?

Pangolins the great gardeners of the earth. They are a keystone species, providing crucial balance in both African and Asian ecosystems. Not only do they maintain ant and termite populations, but they improve seed germination by loosening and composting soil. Their most distinguishing features are the keratin scales that cover their bodies. Unfortunately, these impenetrable scales may protect them from the bite of a lion, but they don't help to defend against poachers.
